Punjabi Pathshala is led by a husband-wife team who are parents themselves. Their mission: to equip their own children — and yours — with the language skills that keep families connected across generations.

Established in 2015 as a free keertan platform, Punjabi Pathshala grew as they saw a real need for joyful, practical Punjabi education. Their big dream? Helping families reconnect with their roots and have those heartwarming chats with loved ones — just like their boys do with their grandparents.

Absolutely not! All our courses are designed for complete beginners. Whether you grew up hearing Punjabi but never speaking it, or you have zero experience, we meet you exactly where you are — and guide you forward with warmth and patience.
All sessions run on Google Meet, making them accessible from anywhere in the world. We use a Montessori-inspired, hands-on approach with workbooks, flashcards, games, and role-play activities — all provided by us. Our tutors are all fluent English speakers, so they explain concepts in a way that truly connects with you.
Yes! We teach children from age 3 upwards. We also offer family memberships, a worksheet membership for independent practice, and summer programmes for children. Our teaching style — games, flashcards, and activities — is especially popular with young learners.
Adults can achieve speaking fluency in as little as 24 weeks. You'll be having basic conversations much sooner — often in your very first few sessions. Our approach is built for real-world results fast, because you're speaking Punjabi from day one.

All prices are invoiced monthly:

  • • 1 student, 1 hour (monthly block): $49/session
  • • 1 student, 30 minutes (monthly block): $29/session
  • • Each additional student: +$15 (1hr) or +$10 (30min)

We teach standard spoken Punjabi as used in everyday family life across the UK, Canada, Australia, and Punjab. Our reading course focuses on Gurmukhi script as used in Gurbani and everyday text. We also offer Paath and Keertan tuition through our specialist tutor Deepinder Kaur.
